Dear Parents/Guardians,

Greetings! We are happy to update you on the latest developments in the school.

1 Farewell to Mr Lazar

Mr Subash Lazar, our Vice Principal for three years, was farewelled at a special assembly on 20 May 2008. He is taking up an MOE Scholarship to complete his Masters degree, and in thanking him for his sterling service to the school, we also wish him all the best in his endeavours.

2 Promotions

We would like to congratulate Miss Jackie Cheng, our Vice Principal, on her promotion to SEO1A1. As well we congratulate 5 of our colleagues who have been promoted to SEO 1; 5 to GEO 1A3; 3 to GEO 1A2; 6 to GEO 1A1, and 1 to GEO 2A1.

5 Assemblies on Thursdays in Term 3

For Term 3 school assemblies will be held on Thursdays, starting at 1345 hrs. Assembly time may occasionally extend beyond 1420 hrs although it is scheduled to start at 1345 hrs and end at 1420 hrs. The school will try to ensure that the maximum length of extension does not exceed half an hour – and only if necessary. We seek your kind understanding on this matter.

Please note that if a level (either Lower or Upper Sec) is not required to attend assembly programme, they will be dismissed at 1345 hrs. However, they may be required to stay back by their Form or Subject Teachers for various matters.
